What has now evolved into Cabinet-Mart Inc. began in October of 1986 when Kevin Sloss purchased a national franchise called "Facelifters". Being somewhat ahead of the times and this being a totally new concept, especially in Southwest MO, it was a struggling business. He managed to survive by adding in more traditional Kitchen and Bath offerings. Custom cabinets, modular cabinets and moldings allowed him to compete in a much broader range. With these additional products, Kevin decided a name change would better reflect his products, so in 1989 we became Cabinet-Mart. By 1995 things had greatly improved and many competing business contacts had been made. At this point, we began to view them as potential customers rather than competitors.We began offering services to "job out" certain cabinets and moldings, stained and finished to match their products. Within a relatively short time, we evolved from what you might call a "retail" cabinet shop to wholesale only. Word of mouth between these customers and their contacts and our own marketing efforts has built our customer base to today's level. Quick turnaround, being on time and striving for quality and price satisfaction have been our most important factors in success.

Our business had grown to a level requiring a more sophisticated business classification, so in 2000 we incorporated. It is a wholly owned corporation, Kevin Sloss President.

Overlay and Decorative Fillers
We have many styles of overlay and decorative fillers available. If you need to match a certain door style, carved or turned onlay, we can match and provide what you need to complete your job.

Color Matching
If you need custom cabinets, parts or moulding to match the color of your next job, we can provide that too! Our very experienced finish department has the capability to match the wide variety of colors and glazes that have flooded the market.
